Ranginui

Ranginui bed and breakfast accommodation Russell NZ

Ranginui is the Māori word for ‘Great Heavens’ or ‘Great Sky’. In Māori mythology, Ranginui is the name of the sky father, who appears in a well-known story about the creation of the world.

The Ranginui room is large and airy with big, beautiful windows that swing open to a tranquil view of the rolling countryside. Thanks to its enviable positioning on the western side of the house, Ranginui receives floods of afternoon and evening sun. Enjoy this from your luxurious super-king-sized bed or from the nearby settee with a drink or a good book in hand. One of Ranginui’s most unique features is its clever compact en suite bathroom, tucked neatly into the attic space to allow as much space as possible within the main guest room.

Complimentary breakfast is included daily for all Ranginui bookings.
